How XP works

Everything you do in the Hotspawn Community earns XP - playing on our servers, climbing the ladders, competing in events and being part of the Discord. XP never goes down, and every threshold you cross unlocks a new rank.

Play, earn, rank up

Every action below has a fixed XP value. Do the action, get the XP - it lands on your profile within moments and counts towards your rank.

Limits and resets

Some actions pay every time, some are capped per day and some pay once ever. Daily caps reset at midnight UTC, so a busy evening never locks you out for long.

Ranks

Your rank is set by lifetime XP. Cross a threshold and you move up a tier - the ladder below shows exactly how far away each one is.

Earning

Ways to earn XP

Every way to earn XP, what each action is worth and how often it pays. The values are the same for everyone.

Ladders

No daily cap

Join a ladder, challenge people and play your matches. Match XP goes to every active member of both teams, whatever the result.

Public Servers

Link your Steam account and play on a Hotspawn public server. Ladder and match servers are excluded - those pay through the ladder instead.

Link your FACEIT account, check in to a Hotspawn event and play your matches. Check-in XP lands once the bracket is posted.
